What does poverty look like, what does it feel like? City Limits: A Poverty Project is a journalistic report in a series of podcasts by WAER radio that reports the facts, the figures, and the stories of poverty in the CNY community (Syracuse’s poverty rate was 13th worst in the United States in 2016).

A website with social value

Designing an interface that raises awareness of a problem as important as this was a very rewarding project to work on. I came up with the name City Limits, wrote the tag line, defined the brand voice with basic copy writing, art directed the video, designed the logo, created a brand style guide, designed the interface for the web app.

“The skill level that Josiah possesses is impressive time and time again. Whatever project is in front of him at any time, he progresses and executes with the most attentive detail being catered to. I have had many projects where time was of the essence and Josiah not only worked within the allotted time given but he knocked it out of the park with skill, talent and his flair to make it sing graphically.”
