For 50 years, J.E. Miller, Inc. is an Aftermarket Manufacturer of Legacy/Service parts, Service Sub-assemblies, & Legacy Finished Goods serving many Fortune 500 companies. When they hired me to redesign their antiquated website, I began with a series of discovery meetings with the owners and sales leaders within the company. I soon found that their goals were to primarily promote the company’s manufacturing services in order to support the efforts of the sales team. They also had a small line of original tool designs that needed to be represented on the website as well. My approach to the design was to focus on dark and metallic feeling of a machine shop.
